Vert Shock, in contrast to other Vertical Jump Training programmes, uses "Shock Training" to help you make quick progress by engaging your type-2 muscle fibres.
 To those who haven't tried it, the procedure might seem strange, but it actually works nicely. The best part is that you don't need a gym because every workout is bodyweight-based.

The intensity of Vert Shock is both its biggest and biggest disadvantage.
 For something to be effective, you must be able to exert yourself. 
So, older jumpers or athletes who are recovering from an injury won't be able to fully benefit from the program. 
Yet, everyone else will have success.
