What Is The Critical Bench?
The Critical Bench program, authored by Mike Westerdal, has been gaining popularity amongst fitness enthusiasts and gym fanatics. This workout program aims to give you a powerful, muscular physique by focusing on the development of upper body muscles through the bench press workout.
Created as an advisory package to help many different body types to quickly achieve fat loss without compromising important muscle mass, Westerdals’ program has taken several years of investigation and trial and error to develop. Included in the package are monitoring tables, which you fill in, documenting your achievements to ensure you stay on track.
Every choice in your lifestyle: from what you eat to when you eat it; from what exact set of rep exercises you carry out to when you rest; is customized; optimizing your fat loss and muscle gain. Set to assist you personally, the impressive thing about Westerdal’s package is that no generic system could ever have the same effects. Naturally, we are all different and so this rep program is effective because it addresses your strengths as an individual.
It’s essential to follow the program and the exercises in the order listed because it minimizes the risk of strain or injury. For example, you wouldn’t want to fatigue your muscles, prior to another set in which they’ll be needed. This is a program for benching. In order to bench effectively, you need all the muscle groups to be ready to support the sequential exercises. So you wouldn’t want to exhaust, for example, the triceps when they are a very important secondary muscle group involved in chest exercises.
Bench press focuses beyond the development of your chest muscles. It also involves some of the major muscles in our body such as the biceps, triceps, and most upper body muscles.
The bench press is a favorite workout routine amongst bodybuilders. This is because bench press is a compound exercise which works for several muscle groups. Having more muscles involved would yield to better muscle growth in your body.

Who Is Mike Westerdal?
On the official web of product
He wrote that in fact, He is a sports expert who earned his degree from Central CT State University.
He had really bad asthma and was hospitalized a lot as a child. Between high school and college, he packed on over 75 pounds of muscle mass!
He actually walked on a D-IAA college football team and became a starting outside linebacker his junior and senior year. It is a strongest bench press on the team his senior year hitting 405. As a freshman in high school I couldn’t bench press 100 pounds.
Over time, he stuck with it. He learned things as ehe went along and kept putting new tips and techniques into practice. But the training style he used back then caused him to plateau at 300 lbs on the bench press. He stayed there for over a year.
And he Made More Progress In 11 Weeks. When he started the program for a second time, he added another 50 lbs to his max reaching 435.
He logged every workout he did in college that got him to a 400 plus pound bench press. And honestly, like magic, the more his bench increased so did his muscle mass and strength. And as his muscle mass and strength went up, so did him self-esteem and his confidence. He carried himself better, he felt better about himself. Then he was more outgoing and powerful.
He also shows that it allowed him to get a job as a personal trainer. He wrote for the big-name Muscle Magazines. And he even played some football in Europe after college.
