Mangakakalot The Last Human is a horror comic set in a zombie-infested city. Zuo Tian Cheng, the last human in this city, thought that he had died, but he wakes up to discover that his soul has returned to the city before his ill-fated day ten years ago. Determined to protect those who matter to him, he sets out to reunite with his past sweetheart.

After the aliens attack, all of humanity is annihilated by a blinding flash of light. The ensuing chaos leaves Taiju a statue, trapped in a world of statues. Fortunately, his science-loving friend, Senku, has been running the city for months, and his plan is to help jump-start civilization using science. While he may be alone, his friendship with Senku keeps him company and helps him overcome his fears.

After the extinction, all of humanity is thrown into a nightmare. It is the only way to survive. As the last human, Zuo Tian Cheng struggles to find his spirit and find peace before the end of the world. He discovers his soul as he races to save the city and the rest of mankind. In the end, he is the only human left in this zombie-infested city.

In the aftermath of this horrible catastrophe, all of humanity is petrified and has turned into statues. High school student Taiju wakes up in a statue-infested world and has to fight to save his soul. While facing his final death, he discovers that he is still alive and his soul has been preserved. Amidst the chaos, Taiju realizes that he has the ability to survive in this dreadful world.
