1. Age. 18–35-year-olds score maximum. Above 35, points are lower and the highest age is 45.
2. Education. This category requires Canadian-equivalent upper secondary education.
3. Work experience. One year of full-time job experience is the bare minimum required to qualify. Working longer earns you more points. The National Occupational Classification (NOC) requires that your job falls under either Skill Level A or B, or Skill Type 0.
