Reportedly according to Demis Hassabis, DeepMind, which is Google's artificial intelligence (AI) division, is considering releasing a chatbot that can match ChatGPT this year.

Will have a feature that ChatGPT OpenAI does not have, namely the ability to cite sources through reinforcement learning, the DeepMind chatbot named Sparrow will be a very powerful AI technology.

Google DeepMind AI Creates Amazing Creations

DeepMind is a subsidiary of Google formed for the development and research purposes of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. One of the programs created by this company that has recently become popular is AlphaGo AI. This tool created by DeepMind was able to beat professional Go players in 2015. Then, what creations has DeepMind created and how are its benefits for humans?

DeepMind performs deep reinforcement learning on AI algorithms that they use both for research and application. DeepMind annually creates many developments and tools that are able to work beyond human capabilities with a high level of difficulty. Below are some of DeepMind's creations whose results astounded many parties.

They created a program where researchers let Artificial Intelligence learn how to walk on its own without any help or information. In a video shared by DeepMind on their YouTube channel, DeepMind is experimenting with a neural network and letting the program learn on its own. Researchers provide a kind of human from wooden sticks that have joints in each of his arms and legs. Researchers also gave humans from these wooden sticks to grip so they could hold something in their learning process. The researchers from DeepMind did not give instructions at all on how to get past the obstacles in front of them, AI had to learn them from the basics, starting from how to move their bodies, joints, how to hold things, to how to walk. The results are very surprising, AI equipped with Neural Networks is able to walk, jump, grip and pass through all the obstacles provided even though its movements look a little ridiculous because it is not like human movements in general.

Researchers use the existing database on ImageNet as a data center for AI to study conditions in their world, starting from portraits of humans, animals, and also landscapes. Next, the Neural Network, which has been provided with data and trained, creates its own images with what the AI has learned from its database. The images that AI creates are those that do not exist in the ImageNet database at all. The algorithm that the researcher uses in this case is the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), which is a type and type of algorithm that has been around for the past few years. The amazing thing about DeepMind AI is that the images it produces are images that don't exist at all, aka images of their own creation. This result once again surprised the researchers because the result was unexpected.
